choosing the Right Weight Loss schedule

Being a pro coach I have had the opportunity to meet and help many separate types of individuals. Primarily my coaching consists of helping individuals find the path to their own success whether it's changing a career, improving their financial status, addition their skill set to be more marketable in their industry, or providing tools for improving their self-esteem. In every case, no matter what the goal, success comes with commitment, dedication, and perseverance. This also applies to weight loss and weight maintenance.

I personally experienced the trials and tribulations of weight loss and gain while the course of my life. Therefore, I know first hand how difficult it can be to lose weight and keep it off. What I have found over the years is the amount one qoute was "Me". What I mean by "Me" is I choose what I want to eat and when I eat. The only surmise my previous diet attempts failed in the past was because I didn't learn whatever from the experience. My eating habits didn't change. After I lost the weight I went right back to following the same old way I was used to eating in the past. Shortly after completing the diet I would gain the weight back. I have learned over the years that behaviors, beliefs, and emotions play a big role in why and what we eat. If you believe you're destined to be fat, then you will. If you believe being fat runs in your family, then you guessed it, you will be fat. If you believe you can't stick to a diet, then you won't be able to.

So how do you retrain or re-teach yourself how to eat good and how to keep the weight off for the long term? It's unquestionably straightforward to do if you have the right tools to get the job done. Retraining or reprogramming takes repetition. Just like a baseball player learns to perfect his throw, he does it by throwing the ball over and over again. In order to paint a picture, you custom painting over and over again. Repetition retrains your mind and body to achieve in a sure way. Losing weight and holding it off is no different.

The first step in the retraining process is identifying the goal or what do you wish to accomplish. Next you recognize all the actions needed to be performed in order to achieve the goal. Here is an example:

The Goal is to lose 25 pounds and keep it off for 12 months.

The activity steps would be:

1. Make a commitment and compose a plan

2. Learn how to eat salutary (adopt a salutary eating program)

3. Learn how the body processes food (educate yourself)

4. Identify What type of eater are you? (emotional or essential)

5. Identify and achieve a salutary exercise program

6. Eat salutary meals throughout the day (Follow a salutary Weight Loss Program)

7. Seek keep when needed to stay on track (supplement, program guidance, etc.)

8. Monitor progress and improve weak areas in the plan

9. Allow for unexpected situations and plan accordingly (vacations, holidays, etc.)

When you are ready to make a commitment to a plan you have whether created or choose to follow, you have taken the first step to success. When you can also look ahead and plan for any unforeseen situations that may occur, you are guaranteeing your success. This not only applies to losing weight but it also applies to all types of goal setting in life.

Note: If you are an emotional eater or turn to food for relieve then you will need to comprise an activity step to rule what drives you to eat and how to eliminate those types of triggers in your life. You will not be successful in your weight lose goal if you can not take off or conquer the triggers that motivate you to eat the wrong types of foods for your body and metabolism. The second surmise individuals fail with weight loss is they fail to rule the type of eater they are and take off any triggers that will cause them to fail or lose sight of their goal.
